가수 진주(사진)가 남자친구에게 처음 반한 순간에 대해 밝혔다.
진주는 최근 “클럽에서 공연 도중 일하던 직원이 나를 향해 심한 욕설을 해 남자친구가 여러명의 직원들과 싸우게 됐다”며 “평소에 부드러운 모습만 보다 갑자기 그런 모습을 보니 마음 한 켠에 든든하다는 생각이 들어 크게 반했던 것 같다”고 털어놓았다.
진주는 “그 날 이후 남자친구가 직접 가사를 써서 선물한 곡이 휘트니 휴스톤의 ‘런투유’인데 이번 앨범에 이 노래를 수록했다”며 “자꾸 그때가 떠올라 행복감에 미소를 띄우게 된다”고 말했다.
한편, 진주의 새미니앨범 ‘화이트’는 토이를 제치고 앨범 판매 3위를 차지하며 대박을 예감하고 있다.

Singer Jinjoo told us about how she fell in love at first sight with her boyfriend.
Jinjoo said, “A waiter at the club I was singing at threw foul words at me and my boyfriend ended up fighting with more than a few waiters working there.” She added, “He was always so sweet to me so I never had a chance to see him act so tough, and when I saw him like that it made me feel that he is a man I can depend on.”
Jinjoo also said, “My boyfriend wrote the lyrics of Whitney Houston’s ‘Run to You’ himself and gave it to me that day, so I included this song on my latest album. This song reminds me of the day and makes me smile in happiness.”
Jinjoo’s latest mini-album ‘White’ currently ranks third in terms of sales, which is above Toy’s newest album, and many forsee that it will turm out to be a big hit.
