이정범 감독이 연출하는 ‘아저씨’(가제)로 관객들을 만나게 된다. 올해 봉준호 감독의 ‘마더’로 강렬한 인상을 남겼던 원빈이 선택한 ‘아저씨’는 스스로 세상과 단절되어 외로이 살아가던 한 남자가 자신에게 유일하게 마음을 열어준 소녀를 위해 모든 것을 내던진다는 액션드라마다. ‘열혈남아’로 한국형 느와르의 가능성을 보여 평단의 호평을 받았던 이정범 감독의 두 번째 작품이다. 원빈은 고독하지만 폭발적인 기운을 지닌 남자로 전작에 이어 연기변신을 시도한다.
‘아저씨’는 올 연말 촬영을 시작해 내년 여름 관객들 찾아갈 예정이다.
원빈은 8월 ‘마더’홍보활동으로 일본을 방문해 각종 언론 인터뷰와 화보 촬영으로 한류스타의 위치를 확고히 했다. 원빈은 10월 ‘마더’개봉을 앞서 일본을 다시 방문할 예정이다.
Top star Wonbin has decided his next movie.
His fans will be seeing him in the movie ’Mister’ of movie director Lee Jungbum. Wonbin, who left a strong impression through the movie ’Mother’ of director Bong Junho, chose the movie ’Mister’ which is an action drama about a man who did not open up to the world and lived a lonely life but meets a little girl who he gives up everything for after she becomes close with him. This will be the second movie of director Lee Jungbum after his movie ’Fervent Soul.’ Wonbin will be taking the role of a man who is lonely but has a strong spirit.
The filming of ’Mister’ is expected to start by the end of this year, and be released next summer.
Meanwhile, Wonbin visited Japan in August to promote his movie ’Mother’ and had interviews with many media and took pictorials, confirming his position as a Korean wave star there. Wonbin plans to visit Japan again before the movie ’Mother’ is released there in October.
